"If you ever need to call a cab, make Phil Gangi with Arrow Cab your first choice. Call the dispatcher (415-970-1110) and request him, he's truly awesome!!!

Here's my story: 1. I drunkenly left my purse in the cab. I realized three seconds after he drove away. I didn't remember which cab company it was or what to do next.

2. 52 seconds later, everyone in my recently dialed calls received phone calls from Phil who was trying to get a hold of me. He told them he was ending his shift and would leave my purse with his dispatchers.

3. In addition to contacting via phone, he also (somehow!) found my Myspace.com profile and sent me a message that he found my purse, in case I didn't get the phone messages!

4. He said the dispatch people would never have attempted to contact me, just would've thrown my purse into a box. So he wanted to make sure I got it back!! Whoah!

5. Talk about going above and beyond! He also has a neat website where he takes his photos of all the things he sees as a cab driver driving around the city. It's called "The Streets of San Francisco - Scenes from the Taxi Driver's Seat." The address of the site is http://philflash.tripod.com.
